Ahead of Manchester City’s Premier League clash with Tottenham on Saturday, Pep Guardiola faced questions about the futures of Savinho and Manuel Akanji, who have drawn interest from Tottenham and Victor Osimhen's Galatasaray.

City have undergone a major squad overhaul this summer, with Kevin De Bruyne, Kyle Walker, Scott Carson, and James McAtee departing, alongside loans for Jack Grealish, Vitor Reis, and Claudio Echeverri to Everton, Girona, and Bayer Leverkusen.

Speaking on the possibility of more exits, the City boss said, "They are still our players, I don't know what will happen.

“I think a few things are going to happen and we'll see...”

Goalkeeper Ederson is eyeing a move to Galatasaray, while Tottenham are expected to make an improved bid for 21-year-old Brazilian winger Savinho.

However, Akanji, 30, dismissed the rumors on Fabrizio Romano’s Instagram, claiming to have no idea what the report was about.

Guardiola is desperate to cut down the squad before the window closed, and Akanji, after being left out of the 4-0 win against Wolves, is a prime candidate to leave.
