Mbale Heroes-Admin saga finally sorted as FUFA release Big League Playoffs schedule
Mbale Heroes and Admin saga has been laid to rest after the Eastern Regional Football Association completed their season on Sunday.
Mbale Heroes have officially been confirmed winners Eastern Regional League after beating Kigulu United from Iganga District 1-0 on Sunday in Butaleja.
The Heroes will now face Bukedea Central from Bukedea in a home-and-away fixture.
Bukedea Central, coached by Peter Ong’odia, emerged winners of the North Easter region after beating Junior Eagles.

Regional playoffs
Elsewhere, FUFA has released the schedules for the remaining regional playoffs.
Only four teams will be promoted as opposed to last year’s format, where eight climbed.
Because of that, regionals will be pitted against their neighbours to find one.
West Nile and Northern winners will face each other; Kampala and Buganda tussle in a central derby as Western and Kitara rub shoulders.
The games will be played on a home-and-away basis.
