Michelle Alozie joins Tobi Amusan and Oshoala at Plug Sports

Michelle Alozie was one of the Super Falcons' best players at the recently concluded Women’s World Cup, helping Nigeria reach the knockout stage.

The Houston Dash wingback has been exceptional for the Super Falcons and has shown top-class performance for her club.

She has now been added to the list of Plug Sports' exceptional athletes, with the organisation releasing an official statement earlier today. 

Plug Sports released an official statement confirming the inclusion of Michelle Alozie in their exceptional athletes roster.

The official statement says, as reported by Pulse Sports, “Plug Sports, the sports management arm of The Plug, has officially announced the addition of Super Falcons and Houston Dash wingback, Michelle Alozie to its roster of exceptional athletes. 

“This exciting signing follows her outstanding performance for Nigeria at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup which was held across cities in Australia and New Zealand.

“Known for her formidable talent and commanding presence on the field, Alozie has garnered acclaim from sports enthusiasts and pundits alike. 

“The promising 26-year-old footballer’s drive for excellence on the field, and contributions to community impact off it, have firmly established her as one of the most prominent sporting figures in Nigeria and the USA.”

The Plug's Head of Sports also expressed his delight at the addition of the Super Falcons defender Michelle Alozie.

Michelle Alozie has now joined the likes of superstars including Asisat Oshoala, Uchenna Kanu, Tobi Amusan, and Henry Onyekuru on the company’s list.
