Mohamed Salah makes history with 3rd PFA Award
The Egypt international led the Premier League in scoring last season with 29 goals and 18 assists in 2024–25.
The nominees for the award included Chelsea attacker Cole Palmer, Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice, Newcastle forward Alexander Isak, Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes, and his Liverpool teammate Alexis Mac Allister.
Salah who is 33 is the first player to receive the award three times after being the star player in Liverpool's championship run the previous season.
At the end of the campaign, Salah was also named the Football Writers' Association (FWA) Footballer of the Year and the 2024–25 Premier League Player of the Season.
Aston Villa midfielder Morgan Rogers was named the year's young player while former manager of England Sir Gareth Southgate received the 2025 PFA Merit Award.
Rogers beat Arsenal duo Myles Lewis-Skelly and Ethan Nwaneri, Chelsea forward Liam Delap to win the award.
Team of the Season
Reigning champions Liverpool and runners-up Arsenal made up most of the Premier League team of the year.
Rice, William Saliba, and Gabriel were the Arsenal players selected while Liverpool boasted of Salah, Mac Allister, Virgil van Dijk, and Ryan Gravenberch.
Nottingham Forest duo Matz Sels and Chris Wood were included while Isak and left-back Kerkez completed the starting lineup.
