The Red Devils made it official with posts on their social media pages and website on Monday morning.

According to the club, the iconic jersey is a throwback to celebrate the club’s storied past while also embracing a fresh and modern look.

The Red Devils added that the kit was produced to resonate with a new generation of football stars on the world stage.

With the jersey reportedly targeted at modern footballers, it should come as no surprise then that one of them has reacted.

Nigeria’s Alozie could not hide her admiration for the Red Devils’ latest collection. 

The defender took to her Twitter page to react to the jersey she described as ‘fire’ while promising to buy one even though she is not a United fan.

“fire!!! I'm not even a fan but I will buy this kit ” Alozie posted on her Twitter account.

Alozie is currently with the Super Falcons at the ninth edition of the FIFA Women’s World Cup, FIFAWWC, co-hosted by New Zealand and Australia.

The talented defender was in action from start to finish as the Super Falcons held Olympic champions Canada to a credible goalless affair in their opening game of the competition.

She put up an above-average performance. Making four clearances, one interception, and winning five ground dwells.

Alozie also won five tackles and had 50 touches en route helping Nigeria Super Eagles to a clean sheet from a position at right-back.
