The club's hierarchy are said to be dissatisfied with the team's play and performances throughout the course of the season and especially in the Champions League.

PSG want Nagelsman to replace Galtier

Following Saturday's 3-2 loss to Clermont, PSG finished just one point clear of Lens at the top of the Ligue 1 table.

Roma's Jose Mourinho and former Spain boss Luis Enrique have also emerged as candidates to succeed Galtier, but according to Foot Mercato, Nagelsmann is now the number one contender.

The report claims that the 35-year-old has already held positive conversations with PSG's owners and should he land the job, is looking to bring Arsenal legend and former Monaco boss Thierry Henry with him as assistant manager.
