In Game One of the NBA Eastern Conference finals, the Indiana Pacers defeated the New York Knicks 138–135 in overtime thanks to an incredible fourth-quarter rally.
At Madison Square Garden, the Knicks had been dominating the game and had a 14-point lead with 2:51 remaining when the Pacers came into their own.
Indiana made six consecutive three-pointers, including five from Aaron Nesmith, in spectacular fashion.
Tyrese Haliburton backed out of the three-point range on the last play of the fourth quarter, and his back-pedaling attempt struck the rim and bounced in, giving the Pacers a slim chance to win the game in regulation.
Haliburton's foot was on the three-point line, according to the video replay, therefore the shot forced overtime.
