NBA Playoffs: Mavericks and Cavaliers win
Donovan Mitchell scored 16 of his 29 points in the third quarter, and the Cleveland Cavaliers responded with a 118-94 victory over the Boston Celtics, tying the second-round playoff series at one game apiece.
The Cavaliers won their first away playoff game in five tries in the postseason, with Evan Mobley scoring 21 points and grabbing 10 rebounds and Caris LeVert adding 21 points off the bench.
Following that, Boston's disadvantage remained in double digits.
Jayson Tatum scored 25 points and Jaylen Brown contributed 19, but the Celtics combined to shoot 14 for 34, including 2 for 11 from 3-point range. They were 8 for 35 from beyond the arc.
Derrick White was limited to 10 points and missed 7 of 8 from long after scoring 25 in Game 1.
Kristaps Porzingis missed his third consecutive game with a strained calf muscle.

Mobley started at center in place of Jarrett Allen, who had missed the previous five games due to damaged ribs.
Mavericks beat Thunder
Luka Dončić led the Dallas Mavericks to a 119-110 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder, tying the second-round series at one game each.
P.J. Washington led Dallas with 29 points, seven 3-pointers, and 11 rebounds, while Tim Hardaway Jr. added 17 points off the bench. Dallas hosts Game 3 on Saturday.
After scoring 19 points on 6-of-19 shooting in Game 1, Doncic went 11 of 21 from the field and 5 of 8 from 3-point range in this one.
