The Golden State Warriors recorded 95-85 away victory over the Houston Rockets in Game 1 of the first-round playoff series.

With 31 points from Curry, the Warriors jumped out to a big lead and kept it to defeat the Rockets.

Cavaliers rout Heat

The Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Miami Heat 121-100 in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference first-round playoff series, with Donovan Mitchell scoring 30 points and Ty Jerome scoring 16 of his 28 points in the fourth quarter.

Mitchell tied Michael Jordan, who had two seven-game streaks, with his seventh consecutive series in which he scored at least 30 points in Game 1.

Tyler Herro scored 21 points and Bam Adebayo scored 24 for the Heat.
