Ndidi, Iheanacho futures uncertain as Leicester releases names of 6 players leaving the club
The futures of Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho at Leicester City are still under doubts following the club’s recent transfer statement.
The Foxes have listed seven players who will leave the King Power stadium after their respective contracts expired this summer, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Leicester releases seven players
Leicester were relegated from the Premier League this campaign and will be playing championship football next season.
Top of the list of players released includes Belgian midfielder Youri Tielemens who has been linked with a move to Arsenal.
African duo of Daniel Amartey and Nampalys Mendy will also be on their way out as well as former Chelsea star Ryan Bertrand.
Caglar Soyuncu has already completed a move to La Liga side Atletico Madrid and will be playing Champions League football next season.
Spanish striker Ayoze Perez and Brazilian winger Tete complete the names of players who will not be plying their trade with former English champions.
On the other hand, players like Ndidi, Iheanacho, James Maddison still have their respective contracts running with Leicester and the future remains uncertain.
The Super Eagles stars have a year left on their current deal with the Foxes as well as England midfielder Maddison.
