Ndidi’s Leicester suffer defeat against Man United following Bruno Fernandes masterclass

Leicester came into the game looking to revenge their elimination from the Carabao Cup by Man United, with Wilfred Ndidi as their midfield anchor.

Ndidi, who claimed he was inspired to be a midfielder by Mikel Obi despite starting his career as a defender, was put in charge of controlling Leicester’s midfield 

However, his effort was overshadowed by Bruno Fernandes, who helped Manchester United claim a 3-0 victory against the Foxes.

Ruud van Nistelrooy made just one change from the side that drew against Chelsea as Amad Diallo comes into the line-up to replace Alejandro Garnacho.

Leicester made three changes from the team that drew at Ipswich. Super Eagles star Wilfred Ndidi made the lineup and started in midfield for the Foxes.

Manchester United started the game brightly and took the lead in the 17th minute. Bruno Fernandes collected a nice pass from Amad Diallo and curled home low and hard from the edge of the area.

The Red Devils doubled their lead shortly before the halftime break when a good cross from the left was met by Bruno Fernandes, who planted his header into the net.

The Red Devils continued their performance in the second half and got their third goal of the game.

Bruno Fernandes carried the ball and found Alejandro Garnacho on the left; he chopped inside and then hit a brutal, sipping shot that flew into the far corner.

Nistelrooy’s team looked comfortable until the final whistle, with United securing three points against Leicester.
