New Balance reveal AS Roma 'Legacy Collection' inspired by club's heritage and roots

Sportswear manufacturers New Balance and Serie A club AS Roma have collaborated for the release of a Legacy collection kit series.

The brand new kit was made in celebration of the club’s rich history and origins, a post read on Instagram.

The three-piece collection features a pre-match jersey and jacket, and a match-day jersey.

The tropical green-coloured pieces features a special lenticular club crest and raised silicone back neck sign-off, with an inscription that  reads 'Figli Di Roma' - meaning Children of Rome.

Promoting the new kit on social media, the Italian club wrote: 'A modern design inspired by the past... Introducing the Legacy Collection - A tribute to the colours of Alba and the origins of AS Roma! 🏛️ #ASRoma | @newbalancefootball'

It also features an embroidered brand logo of the manufacturers to remind fans of the idea behind the classy new collection.

Roma are regarded as one of the greatest clubs in Italian football history due to its iconic origin.

The Italian giants have won three Serie A titles, nine Copa Italia titles, Two Italian Super Cups, as well as winning the maiden edition of the UEFA Europa Conference League.

The New Balance x AS Roma Legacy collection is available to buy now from the New Balance store.
