The 35-year-Argentine skipper is also reportedly banned from training anywhere near the club’s facilities as the Qatari owners look to clamp down on indiscipline.

Messi joined PSG in the summer of 2021, but has struggled to win the hearts of the Parisian faithfuls with the club only seeing its struggles in Europe continue despite his arrival.

On Wednesday, it was reported that PSG fans took to the club’s headquarters to protest against the former Barcelona star following his suspension, with many fans chanting against the 2022 World Cup champion.

Messi was not the only player fingered by enraged PSG fans on Wednesday as Parisian Times also reported that some fans in their number proceeded to protest at Neymar’s residence in Paris.

A video emerged on social media showing a group of PSG fans chanting for Neymar to “get lost” in front of the Brazilian’s two-storey home in Bougival, a posh Parisian suburb.

This comes after derogative chants were already made by the Collectif Ultras Paris, PSG’s most ardent ultra group, who earlier staged a protest at the club’s Parisian headquarters on Wednesday in the early evening.

Neymar responds to 'Get Lost' chants from PSG fans

Neymar who is currently ruled out for the rest of the season after sustaining an injury in PSG’s 4-3 win against Lille in which he scored and assisted took to social media to react.

The 31-year-old forward who is expecting his second child took his official Instagram page for which he has over 207 million followers to reply to a post with a message that read: “They just left my doorstep” along with a sobbing emoji. 

Neymar remains sidelined for the Ligue 1 leaders this season after undergoing ankle ligament surgery.
