The Flying Eagles of Nigeria recorded a 3-2 win against Saudi Arabia in their second U-20 FIFA World Cup group game.

The Flying Eagles came into the game desperate for a win following a 1-0 loss to Norway in their group opener.

Saudi Arabia also were looking to bounce back after their lost to Colombia 1-0 to start the competition.

The Flying Eagles took the lead in the 10th minute when Nasiru Salihu converted a ball through to him by Suleiman Sani.

Amar Al Yuhaybi equalized for Saudi Arabia in the 21st minute assisted by Hamed Youssef.

In the 38th minute, Amos Ochoche scored one of the best goals so far assisted by Salihu to put Nigeria in front which they took to the halftime break.

Talal Haji equalized for Saudi Arabia in the 50th minute assisted by Mohammed Barnawi.

The winning goal would come in additional time as captain Daniel Bameyi converted from the penalty spot.

The result means that Nigeria picks up three points and move to third in the group after Colombia and Norway played out a 0-0 draw in the other game.

The Flying Eagles will return to action against Colombia in their final group game while Saudi Arabia wraps up their tournament against Norway.
