Nigeria vs Algeria: Time and where to watch Super Falcons final WAFCON group game

The Super Falcons of Nigeria are set to take on the Les Verts of Algeria in their final Group B encounter of the 2024 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).

Nigeria already securing their spot in the quarter-finals and Algeria looking to solidify their chances.

Nigeria enters the match with an unbeaten record in the group stage after two games.

They opened with a commanding 3-0 victory over Tunisia, thanks to goals from Rinsola Babajide, Asisat Oshoala, and Chinwendu Ihezuo.

The team led by Justin Madugu followed with a hard-fought 1-0 win over Botswana, sealed by Ihezuo’s 89th-minute strike.

These results mark their 50th tournament win, reinforcing their status as Africa’s most successful team with nine titles vying for a record 10th title.

Algeria started with a 1-0 win over Botswana in their opening game.

However, they labored to a 0-0 draw against Tunisia in their second match and need a result to advance.

Ihezuo has been a "Super Sub" scoring in both group games while Rasheedat Ajibade the captain was Woman of the Match against Bostwana.

Under coach Radia Fertoul, Algeria focuses on deep defending and counter-attacks and will likely aim to frustrate Nigeria and exploit any defensive lapses.

The game between Nigeria and Algeria is set for Sunday, July 13, 2025.

It is scheduled for the Stade Mohammed V and will kick off at 8:00 PM.
