Algeria puts pressure on Nigeria with draw against Tunisia
Algeria and Tunisia battled to a 0-0 draw in their second group game of the 2024 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) on Thursday, July 10, 2025.
Tunisia demonstrated resilience to maintain their hopes at the tournament securing a point against North African rivals Algeria at the Stade Père-Jégo in Casablanca.
The Tunisian team, having succumbed to tournament favorites Nigeria in their first match, found themselves under siege by the Algerians.

The result put Algeria in a favorable position to advance form the group as they defeated Botswana in their group opener.
