Ahead of taking on Tunisia, they have shown solid preparation with recent friendly victories under coach Justine Madugu.

For Nigeria, a win is crucial to set the tone especially given their recent opening matches at the WAFCON, having lost their first game in the last two editions.

The Les Aigles of Tunisia ranked 89th globally and one of the dark horses of the tournament.

They have shown improvement but lost recent friendlies 1-0 to Kenya and 4-2 to Morocco.

Tunisia aim to set the tone for their tournament aspirations against Nigeria in a Group also includes Algeria and Botswana.

The game between Nigeria and Tunisia is scheduled for the Stade Larbi Zaouli.
