Nigerian striker Gift Orban has declared his love for scoring goals after another impressive outing for his Belgian club KAA Gent.
Orban was at it again on Saturday night as Gent thrashed Cercle Brugge 4-0 away from home in a Jupiler playoff encounter.
Striker partner, Hugo Cuypers opened the floodgate of goals when he fired Gent in front in the first half before the 20-year-old Nigerian stole the show with a blistering 16-minute hattrick in the second half.
Orban wants more goals
The goals against Cercle Brugge saw Orban net his third hattrick since he joined Gent five months ago, but the in-form star is not satisfied.
Speaking after the performance on saturday, Orban told the Gent media that three goals are not enough for him and he wants more as he lives for goals.
"Every match is important to me,” he told the Gent media moment after the game.
“Three goals enough? Not for me, I want more. Every striker just wants to score. I live on goals,” he added.
Following his display against Brugge, the Super Eagles hopeful has now scored 14 goals in the league for the club, 12 of them away from home.
Speaking further on his record, the talented youngster was speechless but added; "I don't know what to say.”
