It was not a vintage performance, but goals from Kai Havertz and Bukayo Saka ensured a comfortable start to Arsenal's title-challenging campaign.

Arsenal had to work to take control of the game against a Wolves team that would not allow them to settle into the game, but after 25 minutes, they laid siege to the visitors' goal before Havertz scored the game's first goal.

But Arsenal continued to threaten on the break as usual, and Saka's goal—a classic cut inside from the right wing but an unusual drive inside the near post—made sure Mikel Arteta's team would get all three points.

Saka provided the opener for Havertz and scored the second before being substituted to a standing ovation.
