As they complete their preparations for the upcoming important games, the team will have their first practice in the north African country.

The D'Tigers, led by Abdulrahman Mohammed, must win two of the three games at the very least and hope Uganda blows its chances.

Cape Verde is now on six points, and will undoubtedly make it to the finals the next year.

31 points from Mike Nuga were not enough as D'Tigers lost to Libya in their opening Afrobasket qualifier.
