NPFL Fixtures: Football League returns for run-in with Ada Ada singer Flavour in Enugu
The Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, is back this Sunday for the final six matches of the season following a month-long hiatus with popular highlife legend Flavour as one of the highlights.
Pulse Sports Nigeria can report that league leaders Rangers International have pulled out all the stops to ensure their fans are in for a treat to bring in the Ashawo crooner to perform at the Cathedral in Enugu on matchday 33.
NPFL returns with Flavour
The Flying Antelopes will be hoping the singer's magic can inspire them to victory as they look to hold onto their position at the summit when they host Bayelsa United.
Second-placed Remo Stars face a tricky away trip to Kwara United while defending champions Enyimba begin life without recently departed manager Finidi George as they take on local rivals Abia Warriors.
One of the standout fixtures of matchday 33 sees former title contenders Lobi Stars host struggling Akwa United in Lafia, with the hosts hoping to inflict more misery on the former champions.
NPFL Table
Rangers Int’l will go into the final six matches as favourites as they currently sit top of the league with 57 points, albeit just one point above Remo Stars.

NPFL holders Enyimba are not too far away, just three further points adrift in third place while Shooting Stars, the surprise package, complete the all-important top four.
At the other end of the NPFL table, the battle to avoid the drop will provide an intriguing spectacle with former champions Akwa United and Heartland looking doom.
Akwa sit 18th while Heartland are 19th on the table, with Sunshine Stars above them in 17th.
With the league title and relegation battles still to be decided, the NPFL's return is sure to bring fireworks both on and off the pitch this Super Sunday.
