Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) have disclosed that they generated ₦6,627,500 from ticket sales during their 1-1 draw against Ikorodu City at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Ibadan.
The Five-time Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) champions made history as the first Nigerian club to publicly release official matchday revenue figures rather than just attendance numbers
Ticket sales breakdown
According to the club, 8,425 tickets were sold out of the 10,000-capacity stadium, broken down as follows: 171 VVIP tickets sold at ₦5,000 each, 1,097 VIP tickets sold at ₦2,000 each, 7,157 regular tickets sold at ₦500 each.
This brought the total revenue to ₦6,627,500, an impressive figure in a league where financial transparency has often been questioned.

Shooting stars share spoils in south west derby
The Oluyole Warriors took the lead early on through Sodiq Ibrahim, but were pegged back before halftime by Ikorodu City’s Shola Adelani.
The draw means Shooting Stars are still searching for their first win of the 2025/26 NPFL season, after earlier draws with Bayelsa United and Bendel Insurance.
Next up, they face a difficult trip to Rivers United in Port Harcourt, with coach Nurudeen Aweroro under pressure to deliver a first victory.
