London Football reported that the saga of Saliba and the number two shirt began last year when he shared a photo of his brand-new Nike sneakers with the inscription "WS2" on Instagram.

He wore this identical shirt number for Marseille the previous season, therefore the picture clearly demonstrated that he has grown fond of it.
