Ola Aina: Super Eagles star not nominated for Player and Goal of the Month

The Premier League have revealed the nominees for the December awards.

The Player, Goal, Manager and Save of the Month were announced on Thursday, January 2, 2024.

None of the awards featured Super Eagles of Nigeria star defender Ola Aina.

The Nigerian International has been in good form for Nottingham Forest in the Premier League.

The nominees for the Player of the Month are Liverpool's Trent Alexander-Arnold and Mohamed Salah.

Another Premier League duo nominated for the ward are Newcastle United's Alexander Isak and Jacob Murphy.

Others are Nottingham Forest' Morgan Gibbs-White, Bournemouth's Dean Huijsen, Chelsea's Cole Palmer and Fulham's Antonee Robinson.

There are just four nominees for the Manager of the Month award.

Nottingham Forest manager Nuno Espirito Santo, Newcastle United's Eddie Howe, Bournemouth's Andoni Iraola and Liverpool's Arne Slot make the list.

All four managers have a player also nominated for Player of the Month award.
