Ancelotti is in his second stint as a Real Madrid manager. He has led the club to two Champions League and LALIGA titles and is popularly regarded as one of the best coaches around.

Courtois, in a recent interview, provided some insight into Ancelotti's craft and how he has been able to manage a dressing room of abundance in talent and ego.

What Courtois said

“Above all, he is a great man, a great character and a great coach,” Courtois said. “He strikes the right balance between giving us freedom and telling us the tactics he wants.

"He doesn’t just talk about tactics; he gives a lot of freedom to our players, like Vinicius, Rodrygo and Modric. You need their natural genius.

“You can’t box them in with too many tactics. You need their genius to come out. He manages the dressing room very well and also the training sessions.

Mikel Obi met Real Madrid's coach Carlo Ancelotti in Spain.

"We work a lot, but we also laugh a lot. We have a great time. We work hard but we get rewarded for it. And I love it. So I really think he is one of the best coaches of all time.”

Meanwhile, after acquiring Kylian Mbappe, possibly the biggest star in the game, Ancelotti could have another top talent in his possession, as Real Madrid are reported to be keeping tabs on Liverpool's Trent Alexander Arnold's contract situation
