One of the greatest in Premier League history — Chelsea legend Frank Lampard hails Man City star

Frank Lampard is one of the greatest ever players to have played in the Premier League and his opinion certainly holds weight.

He won three Premier League titles, and a Champions League, scoring 297 goals, including eight during his brief spell at Manchester City.

The Chelsea legend has heaped praise on Kevin De Bruyne, calling him one of the greats.

The Belgian has been in outstanding form for City since his return from injury, notching up an impressive 10-goal contributions in 7 games.

Speaking to City’s in-house media, Lampard said:

 “He’s so unique in terms of hitting his top levels so regularly. 

“His understanding of the game, the goals he scores, his work ethic for the team, those have developed since I played with him obviously and we have all seen him become one of the greatest midfield players in the Premier League era, for sure.”
