Ordega wins Russian Cup with CSKA Moscow: Super Falcons star scores in final
Super Falcons of Nigeria star Francisca Ordega is back on the social media trends.
The Super Falcons veteran has reason to celebrate following her exploits in Russia.
Ordega helps CSKA Moscow win the Russian Cup
CSKA Moscow defeated Zenit 4-1 in the final of the Russian Women's Cup played on Sunday, October 15, 2023.
Cameroon forward Gabriel Ongene put CSKA Moscow in front in the 45th minute as they went to the halftime break ahead.
In the 49th minute, Zenit responded with the equalizer from Gabriela Grzywinska.
CSKA Moscow then went back in front from a penalty converted by Nadezhda Smirnova in the 55th minute.
Super Falcons star Ordega sealed the result with a monster goal in the 73rd minute.
Smirnova grabbed her second of the 88th minute as CSKA Moscow cruised to victory.

Ordega celebrates Russian Cup
Ordega took to her official social media platforms to celebrate the Russian Cup.
She posted photos of the celebration along with a message that said, "Winline Cup Champions @wfccska…. One for the bag, one to go."
The goal was an incredible feat and comes after Ordega was not included in the Super Falcons list for the upcoming Olympic qualifiers against Ethiopia.
Ordega is now expected to return to action when CSKA Moscow takes on Dynamo Moscow in the derby on Saturday, October 21, 2023.
