Osimhen and Icardi will be enemies if they play for Mourinho's Fenerbahce — Turkish football Expert claims

Galatasaray have been praised for how they have managed the relationship between their two main stars Victor Osimhen and Mauro Icardi, by Turkish football commentator Rasim Ozan Kutahyalı.

The Argentine was the star at Galatasaray, having led to a 100-point Super Lig winning campaign. However, only one season after that incredible feat, Cim-Bom acquired a younger, shinier new star and rolled out the red carpet for him.

Osimhen went on to lead Galatasaray to a league and cup double, and in Icardi’s absence, as the former Inter striker suffered an ACL injury, they ruled him out for the campaign.

The plaudits and platitudes for Osimhen have been immense, and he has deposed Icardi as the star of the squad. Still, they have maintained a cordial relationship, and Rasim credited the former PSG man for his role in fostering the positive vibes.

Rasim did not only credit Icardi for creating the atmosphere; he also lauded the Galatasaray hierarchy, positing that Fenerbahce would not have been able to achieve a similar feat.

"I listened to Icardi's statements at Galatasaray. He spoke very truthfully about Kerem Aktürkoğlu. He was like a true politician,” he said, per GsGazette.

“Galatasaray manages these processes correctly. If Osimhen and Icardi were at Fenerbahçe, there would definitely be a fight.

“They wouldn't be able to bear the weight of two stars. Osimhen became such a star that kids started naming him, but I didn't see a single ounce of jealousy in Icardi.”
