Despite Super Falcons having the best chance in the game, Randy Waldrum’s side lost 1-0 to the World Cup winners Spain.

Oshoala attributed the Super Falcons' consecutive losses at the current Olympic Games in France to subpar finishing.

Oshoala made her Olympics debut against Spain after being benched by Waldrum in the opening game. 

After the loss, she spoke about the reason behind the Super Falcons' loss, faulting a lot of missed chances in the game.

Rasheedat Ajibade drew attention with her flair and agility, but she has also been found to be guilty of missing easy opportunities.

Speaking to Totori, Oshoala said, "All I can say is that I'm proud of the team performance, I think we played good.

"We played against the world champions and we had our chances, we had opportunities to score against Spain. The same thing happened to us in the first game.

"We were not clinical and we just need to be clinical upfront and if we start scoring goals we can compete with any team in the world."

Randy Waldrum's team played a defensive game against world champion Spain, only to concede from a dead-ball situation in the last minutes of play.

The Super Falcons' next match is a crucial one against Japan on Wednesday at Nantes' Stade de la Beaujoire - Louis Fonteneau.
