Paul Pogba now earning less than one percent of his Ksh1.2 billion annual Juventus salary after positive drug test
Paul Pogba a few years ago was one of the best midfielders in the world, earning big bucks in the process.
When he was at Juventus, he could do everything with or without the ball at his feet before his record transfer to Manchester United in the summer of 2016.
He showed flashes of his brilliance at United but never really set the stage a light as was expected in his six years at Old Trafford.
From then until today, a lot of water has flowed into the furrow. All that the French midfielder had conquered in his career and in his personal life seems to be destroyed one after the other.
Things have gotten worse since September when he tested positive for banned substances that he should not have taken before the away match against Udinese.
🚨 Paul Pogba is currently receiving just €42,000-a-year from his €8m-a-year contract. 😨

If the laws are applied to the letter, then he will face a four-year ban. It is still not known what will be the position and attitude of his club Juventus in such a case. But it seems that the changes will be immediate and dramatic. At least financially.
The experienced midfielder had a contract with the Italians that earned him €8 (Ksh1.2 billion) million-a-year. Now, that will change and he will have annual monetary rewards that will barely reach €42,000 (Ksh6.5 million) which corresponds to less than one per cent of his salary before he tested positive for banned substances, as reported by French outlet L' Equipe.
His talent? Rare. However, ever since returning to Manchester United, Pogba has forgotten about trying to get better and better. Something he often did while he was still in the early stages of his career.
Although if nothing changes then the French midfielder will not compete for the next four years. Which may bring him an inglorious and premature end to his career.
