Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino has expressed his disappointment with his team’s defeat to Everton but believes his team can get better if they spend even more money in the coming transfer window.
The Blues suffered a 2-0 defeat to the Toffees at Goodison Park, conceding twice to goals from Abdoulaye Doucoure and Lewis Dobbin. The win moved Everton four points clear of the relegation places and sent Chelsea down to 10th.
What Pochettino said
"Football is about scoring goals and we were not clinical in front of goal,” he said, per the BBC.
“I'm really, really disappointed. We didn't get the point we deserved. I think we were better but we didn't get what we wanted.
"This was a game to play and to win. It's a problem we need to check. We need to analyse the reality. We need to talk and to try to improve in the next transfer market."
