It was a tale of varying outcomes for the Nigerian players involved in Brentford’s 1-1 draw against Leicester City as Super Eagles forward Kelechi Iheanacho saw only six minutes of game time.

The forward was brought on in the 90th minute in Leicester City’s 1-1 draw away to Brentford in the Premier League and only played the duration of additional time.

Wired Ndidi on the other hand gave a decent performance for 75 minutes as he helped the Foxes end their five-game losing streak.

Brentford took the lead through Mathias Jensen midway through the first half, but Harvey Barnes pulled Leicester level just after the half-time break to earn the Foxes a much-needed point away from home.

With the relegation battle starting to heat up in the Premier League, Leicester in 16th place can hardly afford to drop points at this stage and would be grateful to Barnes and James Maddison who reached his 15th goal contribution for the point against Brentford who are usually more formidable at home.
