Real Madrid beat Olympiacos to win 11th European title

After a last-second comeback and a game-winner by Sergio Llull with 3.2 seconds remaining, the Real Madrid basketball team won their 11th EuroLeague title on Sunday, May 21 2023.

At the last second, Olympiacos had an opportunity to win it, but Sloukas' shot rimmed out.

The game's standout performer for Real Madrid was former NBA player and club icon Sergio Rodriguez, who scored 15 points and dished out nine assists.

Edy Tavares got the MVP Award for his performance against Barcelona in the semifinals and today.

Despite missing their two key Power Forwards, Gaby Deck and Yabusele, Real Madrid defied all odds.

This is the cherry on top for Real Madrid basketball icons Rodriguez, Llull, and Rudy Fernández, who created a golden era throughout the previous ten years.
