Bray Wyatt, a WWE legend, passed away at the age of 36, reportedly from a heart attack.

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, a former professional wrestler who is now a Hollywood movie star, has led the online memorials for Bray Wyatt.

Wyatt The three-time WWE world champion, who hasn't wrestled since defeating LA Knight in a Mountain Dew Pitch Black Match at the Royal Rumble in January and was rumored to be close to making a comeback.

Wyatt was eventually given the all-clear to compete once more, with a possible comeback date of September.

It was a 'life-threatening' sickness that kept him out of the ring for an extended period.

Reactions to Bray Wyatt

Tributes to the wrestler have flooded in after the devastating news.

Wyatt may have died unexpectedly but earlier this year struggled with health issues brought on by Covid-19.

Johnson said, "I'm heartbroken over the news of Bray Wyatt's passing. Always had tremendous respect and love for him and the Rotunda family. 

"Loved his presence, promos, in ring work and connection with [WWE] universe.

'Very unique, cool and rare character, which is hard to create in our crazy world of pro wrestling. Still processing losing the goat, Terry Funk yesterday and now Bray today.'

'My love, light, strength & mana to the Rotunda family and Funk family during this tough, heartbreaking time.'

Wrestling icon, Ric Flair reflected on Wyatt's death with a statement that said, 'When Your Great Friend And Someone Your Son’s Age Dies Within 2 Days.

"It Really Makes Me Reflect & Think About Life! Don’t Take Any Second For Granted! Rest In Peace Terry Funk & Bray Wyatt!"

In addition to his ex-wife Samantha Rotunda and their two daughters, Wyatt is survived by his fiancee, WWE ring announcer JoJo, and their two children.
