Barcelona legend Ronaldinho has revealed that he wants Kylian Mbappe to achieve remarkable success at Paris Saint-Germain, amid links to Real Madrid.
PSG was the Brazilian icon’s landing point in European football, and he spent two seasons with the French Champions before moving to Barcelona.
What Ronaldinho said
The 44-year-old still has a soft spot for the Parisien side, and despite loud calls for the club’s current star, Mbappe, to depart for perceived greener pastures, Ronaldinho believes and wishes he can attain the biggest individual price in World football at PSG.
Ronaldinho says Mbappe, whom he called his friend, can win the Ballon d’Or at PSG, and he wants him to do it there.
“A great player like him can have the opportunity to win the Ballon d'Or with any team, but as I like PSG, I would like him to do it with PSG,” he told AFP, per Footballogue.
“I hope he wins it. He's a good friend and a great player. I like his style of play.”
The time for Mbappe to achieve this at PSG is fast running out, however, as his contract expires at the end of the season, and he is said to be uninterested in renewing for PSG, with a move to Real Madrid on his mind.
