Ruthless Kasule tears down Inter Miami II
Uganda Cranes attacking midfielder Ibrahim Kasule extended his stunning form with New York Red Bulls II after netting a brace against Inter Miami II.
Kasule scored in the 51st minute through a penalty and added a brilliant second in the 67th minute, as his team drew 3-3 with Miami.
That was before New York Red Bulls II won the post-match spotkicks 4-3 at the MSU Soccer Park in the wee hours of Monday.
Kasule also netted his post-match penalty, while compatriot Frank Ssebuufu missed his, as they collected two points at home turf.
The other Ugandan, Steven Sserwadda last 84 minutes before he got replaced by American Dylan Sullivan.
Meanwhile, Kasule's brace took his 2024 MLS Next Pro tally to two goals and as many assists in two games.
Overall this season, including the US Open, Kasule has scored three goals and assisted twice in three games for New York Red Bulls II.

The team now sits second in the MLS Next Pro Northeast Division with five points, one behind leaders Philadelphia Union II.
