Rwanda's stunning Amahoro Stadium takes shape, nears completion
Rwanda continues to pioneer sports development in the East African region with their resolute and committed investment in infrastructure and sports tourism.
Already boasting the magnificent BK Arena, Rwanda is currently upgrading the prestigious Amahoro Stadium from a 25,000 to 45,000 seater.
The stadium is set to foster football nurturing and development as well as sports tourism in the country.
The latest updates from Rwanda's media outlets indicate that the stadium has neared completion, and it won't be too long before it gets busy again.
It has been confirmed that Rwanda's next home FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho and Nigeria will be hosted at the Amahoro.
It should also be noted that the stadium is intended to be roofed from all sides and will also have an artificial turf open stadium outside.
