Kenya will play Equatorial Guinea on November 14 and Senegal four days later with both matches set to be played in Turkey and Ogam is banking on their squad which has a lot of young players this time round.

“It is a different team maybe because of the inclusion of new players but in football, they say there are no new players,” Ogam told the media.

“We have a good team and we believe we will have a good outing in this camp and look forward to the upcoming games."

The Austria-based striker, however, admits there will be pressure given the quality of the opposition, especially 2021 African champions Senegal, who are ranked 18th in the world and second in Africa.

What is Giving Ogam Hope for Victory?

Ogam, however, thinks the games will thrust them into the spotlight and add positive pressure on them to do well.

“There must be pressure every time, being in the limelight means everyone will be watching your performance but it is positive pressure,” he added.

“So for me, every time I want to give more than 100 per cent and this is another opportunity to do that and I look forward to the upcoming games.”

While lauding Football Kenya Federation for lining up matches against quality teams, Ogam thinks the only way to do well is for everyone to give 100 per cent and stay united throughout the two testing contests.

“The objective is to win both games but it will not be easy but I know if we are together, we will achieve. It is a matter of staying together and pushing hard,” said the former Tusker star
