Salah contract saga: Liverpool forward upset as new report emerges

Liverpool's contract talks with Mohamed Salah have reportedly stalled due to a disagreement over wages. 

According to Masrawy via Liverpool Offside, the forward is said to be seeking a new deal that matches his current terms; however, Liverpool are reportedly offering a reduced wage packet.

Salah's current contract expires at the end of this season. Liverpool are keen to tie him down to a new long-term deal but are unwilling to meet his current salary demands, leading to a stalemate in negotiations.

Salah has been a key player for Liverpool since joining the club in 2017, breaking numerous goalscoring records and helping the club win several major trophies. 

Liverpool fans are anxious to see him sign a new deal, but the club may be forced to let him go if they cannot reach an agreement.

The news of Salah's potential departure has alerted a number of top European clubs, with Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain both said to be interested in signing the Egyptian. 

Liverpool will be hoping to resolve the situation quickly to avoid losing one of their star players.
