According to Masrawy via Liverpool Offside, the forward is said to be seeking a new deal that matches his current terms; however, Liverpool are reportedly offering a reduced wage packet.

Salah's current contract expires at the end of this season. Liverpool are keen to tie him down to a new long-term deal but are unwilling to meet his current salary demands, leading to a stalemate in negotiations.
