Schroder named MVP as Germany crowned EuroBasket champions
Germany defeated Türkiye in an exciting final to win the FIBA EuroBasket 2025 championship.
In addition to their FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 victory, it was their first continental victory since their inaugural victory in 1993.

In front of an 11,000-strong crowd at Arena Riga, Germany celebrated their 88-83 triumph, with Isaac Bonga winning Player of the Game with 20 points and 5 rebounds.
Dennis Schroder was named the tournament's MVP which included a double-double of 16 points and a Finals record 12 assists versus Türkiye.
Along with teammate Franz Wagner, the point guard was joined in the All-Star Five lineup by Luka Doncic of Slovenia, Giannis Antetokounmpo of Greece, and Alperen Sengun of Turkey.

After eight straight wins, both teams were undefeated but Türkiye's first tournament loss prevented them from winning a historic first title.
Greece earned the last spot on the podium with a thrilling 92-89 victory over Finland in the Third Place Game.
