A David Okoth goal was enough to give Police all the three points, which leaves Shabana in 17th place on 22 points with the season now approaching its final stretch.

Speaking to Pulse Sports following the loss, Pamzo expressed optimism that his side will bounce back, especially considering they created the better opportunities particularly in the second half but did not take them.

“It gives me a lot of hope especially when you see that we had moments in this game against very strong teams to equalise,” Pamzo said.

He emphasised the need to address mistakes that are proving costly for the team, pointing out that small errors are leading to goals against them.

Pamzo believes that learning from these mistakes is crucial for the team's progress.

“I believe we could have gotten a goal, but the thing is, we have to avoid mistakes. We are making small mistakes that are leading to goals," he added.

“These are things that we should do away with. Any time we make mistakes, we get punished which costs us.”

Despite the setbacks, Pamzo commended the fighting spirit of his players and expressed confidence that with continued training and communication, the team will learn from their mistakes.

Pamzo has expressed relief that softer fixtures lie ahead for Shabana which will allow them to start winning.

“The more I talk to them, the more we train, they will learn from their mistakes. I do not want them to make mistakes because it turns costly," said the coach.

“The fighting spirit is there. I cannot fault them about that but going forward, we need to do more. I believe from now, we will get softer fixtures.”
