Richardson clocked an exceptional world-leading time of 10.71s, inspiring her training mates Melissa Jefferson, who clocked a brilliant Personal Best (PB) of 10.80s to finish second, and Tee Tee Twanisha Terry produced her best performance of the season in 10.89s for third place, as the trio are heading to the Olympics for the first time in their careers.
Her domineering mark is her second-fastest career time behind her world title-winning performance of 10.65s in Budapest last year and has now won the US 100m title for the third time (2021, 2023, and 2024).
The 24-year-old's fame and influence in the past year have been on a meteoric rise, bringing more visibility to the sport as several renowned personalities now show interest in athletics - a worthy reason why Dogg may have been present in Oregon.
