Former Super Falcons forward Desire Oparanozie has expressed confidence in Nigeria's ability to progress from a challenging Group C at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
Despite a disappointing 1-0 defeat to Brazil in their opening match, Oparanozie believes the team can still qualify for the knockout stages.

Group C is arguably the 'group of death,' featuring the reigning world champions Spain, alongside former world champions Brazil and Japan.
Speaking on 54footballX, Oparanozie predicted the group standings. "Yes, we will come out," she affirmed when asked about Nigeria's chances of progressing.
"It's between Spain and Japan for the top spots, and Nigeria will pick the third place. Brazil is going home. We will lose one, draw one, and win one," She said
