Stop posting fake sh*t - Victor Boniface reacts to 'lies' about break up with Rikke Hermine

Super Eagles of Nigeria forward Victor Boniface has taken to social media to set the record straight regarding his alleged breakup with his girlfriend.

On Thursday, January 23 2025, the Bayer Leverkusen striker came out to give a piece of his mind about the situation with his Norwegian girlfriend Rikke Hermine.

Pulse Sports Nigeria had earlier reported that Boniface and Rikke Hermine unfollowed themselves on social media platform Instagram and spent the festive period apart, leading to unconfirmed rumours of an alleged breakup between the love birds.

However, neither Boniface nor Hermine confirmed the news of any conflict or breakup in their relationship.

Their silence did not in any way stop rumour from continuing to circulate on social media. One X account audaciously claimed that Hermine's insistence on a formal marriage without a prenuptial agreement was the main source of disagreement. Again, these are mere allegations and have no substantial facts to back them up.

Following how viral the news of his breakup has gone, Boniface has now been forced to respond to the negative remarks about the situation on his official social media platform.

In a now-deleted post on X, the Super Eagles star questioned the authenticity of the reports and urged bloggers not to post fake news.

"Everything you guys say about her. Are all LIES."

Rikke Hermine has wiped her Instagram and set her page to private but has yet to respond to the situation on social media.
