Super Eagles coach storms Lagos for NPFL Super 6

The Super Eagles coach, Jose Peseiro has stormed the Mobolaji Jhonson Arena in Onikan, Lagos for the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) championship playoffs.

Pulse Sports reported that the opening game of the 2023 NPFL Super Six championship is between eight-time champions Enyimba and Remo Stars.

The 1000-capacity Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Onikan, Lagos is the venue to host all the games.

Enyimba, Remo Stars, Sunshine Stars, Lobi Stars, Rivers United, and Bendel Insurance will compete in the NPFL playoffs.

The portugues was appointed as head coach of the senior national team in December 2021.

He replaced the interim manager Augustine Eguavoen who led Nigeria to the Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroun where Nigeria reached the last 16.

Peseiro has led the Super Eagles to 11 games, winning four and losing seven.
