Super Falcons: Rasheedat Ajibade visits Remo Stars Academy Beyond Limits

Atletico Madrid superstar, Rasheedat Ajibade visited Remo Stars Academy Beyond Limits at their camp in Ikenne.

The girl with blue hair, as she's fondly called, was the August visitor at the camp of the newly promoted Nigeria National League (NNL) side on Tuesday. 

Rasheedat is one of the Super Falcons players that just returned from the FIFA Women’s World Cup, FIFAWWC in New Zealand and Australia.

The Atletico Madrid superstar was one of the stars of the Nigerian team who made it to the knockout stage of the FIFA Women's World Cup before they were eliminated by England on penalties.

The 22-year-old started the ninth FIFAWWC as a spectator after she was suspended for a red card picked up at the Women's AFCON.

Ajibade returned to the starting lineup after the goalless affair against Olympic champions Canada to play an important role as Nigeria qualified from the 'group of death' that had Australia, Canada, and Ireland.

The Remo Stars Academy became one of eight teams to gain promotion to the second-tier Nigeria National League (NNL) following a 4-1 playoff victory over First Bank.

Beyond Limits had been one of the over 90 teams playing in the third-tier Nigeria Nationwide League One (NLO).
