Supercomputer tips Manchester City for historic treble
Manchester City have been backed to complete the first European, league, and domestic cup treble since 1999 by an AI-powered supercomputer.
Manchester City on the verge of historic treble
The Cityzens have recently reached the final of the UEFA Champions League, where they play Inter, and have also reached the final of the FA Cup, where they will play neighbours Manchester United, while also being four points ahead of nearest challengers Arsenal in the Premier League title race.
If Manchester City continue their current trajectory, they could write their names in the history books, becoming the first team since Manchester United achieved the feat in 1999.
Manchester City tipped to win treble
The Cityzens have now been tipped to do exactly this and reach the heights previously only achieved by their cross-town neighbours by FiveThirtyEight’s forecasting computer.
The Supercomputer has tipped Manchester City to win all three events, making them odds-on favourites to complete the treble.
According to the AI-powered computer, Manchester City have a 99% chance of winning the Premier League, a 76% chance of winning the FA Cup against Manchester United, and a 74% chance of being victorious in the final of the UEFA Champions League against Inter, giving them a 56% chance of winning the treble.
