Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce ENGAGED: 14-time Grammy winner says ‘Yes’ after BREAKING Guiness World Record

In an announcement that has already broken the internet, Taylor Swift has revealed her engagement to NFL superstar Travis Kelce via Instagram.

Captioning the joyous post, Swift quipped, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” alongside a dreamy series of engagement photographs featuring a vintage ring.

The romance, which began quietly in summer 2023 following Kelce’s mention on his “New Heights” podcast, has since blossomed into a super-celebrated relationship. 

Swift’s attendance at Chiefs games, Kelce’s support for her Eras Tour, and their frequent New York date nights speak to a deeply felt bond.

Rumours of a proposal were rife, with reports suggesting he had even approached her father for his blessing.

Only hours before announcing their engagement, Swift made history yet again — this time alongside Kelce, on his and his brother’s podcast, New Heights. 

According to PEOPLE, her debut appearance on the August 13 episode drew a staggering 1.3 million concurrent YouTube viewers, earning a Guinness World Record for the most simultaneous viewers on a podcast.

As of today, that episode has amassed over 20 million total views.

The special episode also featured Swift formally announcing her 12th studio album The Life of a Showgirl, due out on 3 October, complete with collaborators such as Max Martin, Shellback, and Sabrina Carpenter.

It was a night that combined major milestones: breaking world records and dropping career-defining album news, before she saying ‘Yes!’ to the love of her life.
