Enzo Fernandez took to his social media account to pen a long message that summarised his football calendar, which included winning the World Cup with Argentina, an impressive first half of the season with Benfica, and a move to Chelsea.
The midfielder was one of the better performers for Chelsea in an otherwise shambolic season, and his message included a note of hope for the Blues faithful.
What Enzo said
The midfielder acknowledged how difficult his debut season at Chelsea was and that it did not go as planned.
However, he believes the Chelsea project is a serious one that will soon start bearing fruit. He assured that the best was yet to come.
“I still had half a year and there was an opportunity to reach one more dream, to play the Premiere League and fight for Chelsea,” Enzo said.
“Happy and more than happy with everything we have experienced this year. We are moving forward with the national team.
