The midfielder was with Neymar, who came with his pregnant girlfriend Bruna Biancardi to the celebration.

The Brazilian was quick to recognise the quality of his former teammate and classified him among the best.

Neymar has hailed Verratti in his recent post on social media following a New Year celebration party yesterday.

The Brazil star also posed for a photograph with Verratti on Instagram and added the caption, "The best player after Andres Iniesta."

Following his career at PSG, Verratti made 416 appearances, scoring 11 goals and providing 61 assists for the club.

He also went on to win several trophies for the French giants during his years and bowed out on a high.

Meanwhile, Neymar and Bruna jointly revealed their second child's impending arrival on social media on Christmas Day.
